Mujica's Questline[]

Dude Who Wants Die

Mujica, the accursed, is an NPC who you first meet on your first entrance into Jirahka Ruins. He will talk to you, stating that he is a nomadic "purveryer of rare trinkets & relics", and wishes for you to acquire a "Special Majin Sword" held by a "Vile Woman", and assigns you his first mission of his questline, in which you will need to defeat Great Sister Vali.

After defeating Great Sister Vali, and acquiring Vali's Cinderblade, you may talk to Mujica again, and he will request that you strike him with the sword. Doing so will allow you to talk to him again, in which he will state that the sword disappointed him. This offers the player a hint as to his condition, but nonetheless, he will request the next weapon for you to acquire.

Next, he will request that you go to The Holy City, Min'Esh, and seek out "The Blasphemer Leirra, knowing mockingly as 'The Golden Rose'". This offers a hint as to where to go, as you are to now switch mission environments from The Majin Lands to The Domain of The Attar'Esh. Doing so and completing the first level of The Streets Of Min'Esh will allow you to face Leirra, The Golden Rose. Defeating her will unlock her Rapier for use, which you can then use on Mujica once again.

Using it on Mujica will one again prove useless, as he claims it is "Rubbish". He will then assign you a new target, requesting a weapon that is "-more powerful, something mighty. What is more so than the hammer from one of our most violent warriors?". The next step in his quest will have you going back to The Majin Lands and completing the second level, The Great Divide. Doing as he has requested before and going to the level, defeating Batoush, The Gatekeeper, then coming back to once again strike him, will once again prove useless.

Mujica, for the last time, will state that he "will not lose hope", and has another plan. He will state that "Deep in the basement of the Great Library, two guardians reside", and request you go and defeat The Typhlotic Twins, and obtain their signature weapon to strike them. At this point, you will need to go to The Grand library in The Domain of The Attar'Esh, and defeat them. However, it is at this point that you are able to find Mujica as a Post-Boss Interaction, where you will find him repeatedly stabbing himself, while lamenting over his fate and those that have bound him to it. Speaking to him will reveal that he was cursed to be immortal by an ancient god, a secret he has been alluding to for some time now. He will state that you need not share his burden with him, however, he would be grateful if you continued to seek out a weapon that might kill him. You are able to choose between taking on his burden alongside him, or leaving him there. (IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS WILL AFFECT HIS QUESTLINE, MORE INFO NEEDED).

Returning to the Garden for the final time with The Typhlotic Pair will allow you to talk to Mujica once more. He will be excited, offering what he believes are his last words, comforting you on whether or not it is your true desire that you are here, hunting monsters endlessly. Regardless, he will ask you to strike him down once more, and doing so will prove useless. This time, however, Mujica does not respond in the same way as before, stating instead;

I live still. How curious... In a moment there, I wished not to perish. I wished... to live. Hm, how peculiar ... "

This is the final part of Mujica's questline , and speaking to him now will only offer you a repeated Greeting as of June 1st. 2026.

The Vagabond's Questline[]

The Vagabond is a unique, interactable NPC found throughout your runs. Found in the first level of The Domain of The Attar'Esh within The Streets Of Min'Esh, you will encounter her just after your 2nd seed selection choice. She will be sitting atop a small building, requesting to speak with you. Upon speaking with her, she will offer you a key to a nearby locked gate, requesting that you bring her back "something precious that was stolen" from her. You may choose to be skeptical or not, but will still gain the "Bejeweled Key", where an elite enemy lies in wait behind the gate. Defeating the enemy will grant you a "Mysterious Item", and the ability to talk to her again, alongside some simple stat ups. Speaking to her again will surprise her, stating;

"How rare, - a reliable man! Now that I see you in the light, you look... foreign. A pleasant surprise! Perhaps our paths shall cross again?"

After this interaction, she will disappear, and you can later find her back in The Majin Lands, specifically, in The Jirahka Ruins, at the end of the level on the stairs leading up to the fight for Sister Vali. She will once again speak with you, teasing you and questioning if you are following her, before dismissing you and letting you go on your way to defeat the boss. After this interaction, she can be found as a Post Boss Interaction, and can be interacted with once again.

This time, she will talk to you, and request of you another favor. She states that she heard a rumor that someone has stolen a very valuable necklace belonging to "The Great Dreamer", and that is is "Hidden in a secret room just before the temple". This secret room can be found in The Majin Lands, within Namah, City of Pilgrims. To find this room, you must simply go through the level as normal, however, just before the boss section, in the long hallway leading up to it, you have to look for this room. It is just past the rock drop & before the blacksmith anvil, where you will notice wooden planks just before the stairs that take you to the up to the firepit area.

Again, you will need to talk to her again as a Post Boss Interaction. This time, she will thank you for obtaining the necklace, before telling you of her worries about people who seem to be hunting her down. She then tells you of a woman who saw her "entering some place, somewhere they forbade me to go!", and ask you to kill her. You are then given the choice to accept or not. (UNKNOWN IF THIS WILL CHANGE HER QUEST CONCLUSION) Accepting her quest will then send you on a mission to kill a "Goldclad Dreamwalker" who roams around.

You will be able to find the Goldclad Dreamwalker as a Post-Boss interaction. Interacting with her will have her speak to you, stating that you must be the Vagabonds fighter, and claims that she can offer you something to help on your way instead of fighting her. If you do fight her, she will drop the Sacrificial Daggers.

After this, The Vagabond will appear in The Garden, sitting by the firepit. She will thank you for your help, before telling you of her people and their endless cycle of seeking a dreamer. For her final quest, she will request that you "Kill their Dreamer and you kill their dream. Slay the man in eternal sleep and you will pierce the spirit of every one of your enemies in this godforsaken place".
